The Millenum Trilogy of bestselling books by Stieg Larsson are novels which need to be consumed in very large chunks, once picked up these books are very hard to put down, and my statistics seem to reflect this fact. I won't bother with describing plots and storylines as that has been done by far better people than me.
The design draws inspiraton from the top trumps card game where each card contains a list of numerical data, and the aim of the game is to compare these values. This seemed an appropriate approach allowing me to display the four main characters present in the books and to produce just one web page for all three books.
My name is Ian Ecclestone and I am currently experimenting with the capabilities of CSS and HTML. Over the forthcoming months I shall visualise one aspect of the book which I am currently reading.
